Move over Pizza & Pages, a new teen book discussion group is in town! Books & Bites meets every third Monday (with some exceptions) at various eateries in and around the community. This month's read is Esperanza Rising, a story about a young girl and her mother who are forced to leave their life of wealth and privelege in Mexico to go work in the labor camps of Southern California after a sudden tragedy. Here, they must learn how to adapt to the harsh lifestyle that now faces them. Treat yourself after reading the book to a dinner or dessert at Panera Bread and discuss it with others. The group will be meeting at Panera Bread located at 4221 Recreation Drive in Canandaigua, NY on Monday, October 15 at 6 PM.
