Mother/Daughter Fitness Sampler
Thursday, February 28
7-8 PM
Forget shopping! Forget cooking! Here's a new way to have fun with your mother or daughter! On Thursday, February 28, from 7-8 PM at Wood Library, join Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor Coleen Avery as she teaches the girls how to really workout! Sample various workouts that focus on different parts of your body - Zumba (a fusion of latin and international music and dance moves), Core (standing and sitting stretches), and low-impact Cardio.

Coleen is a retired middle school teacher from Bloomfield and since her retirement she has been able to pursue her passion for fitness on a full time basis. She has been employed by Uptown Fitness for two years. Prior to public education retirement, her fitness skill sets were accumulated on a part time schedule. She holds multiple martial arts degrees; is certified as a group exercise instructor and as a personal trainer; and most recently has passed the certification process for Zumba instruction.

Hurry, space is limited! Registration required. For grades 7 and up. Participants will need to wear loose clothing, sneakers, and should bring water and a towel. Participants must be in a good, healthy physical condition to attend and will be asked to bring a signed waiver on the day of the event. Brought to you by Uptown Fitness.
