The 17th Annual Teen Poetry Contest is here!

April 25-May 31

Win $50, $40, or $30 for your original poem! Beginning April 25, teens are encouraged to showcase their writing talents by submitting poems to Wood Library. The deadline is May 31 at 9 PM. Students in grades 6 – 12 should submit their typed poems with contact information (name, address, phone number, grade, and school) on a 3x5 card to Wood Library, 134 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY or email them to jgoodemote@pls-net.org. One entry per person. Five copies of poem must be submitted. The Poetry Award Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 PM.
